Phoenician Glass Evil Eye Bead ca 500-300 BCE

Glass eye beads have been traditionally worn throughout time to provide protection and ward off negative influences. This rare spherical bead in cobalt blue has four rows of applied circular motifs. Each motif consists of concentric bands in white and brown, enclosing a cobalt blue central dot. This Phoenician bead dates between 500-300 BCE.
